Angela A. Brown, M.B.A.

Ms. Brown is the Founder, CEO, and President of Victory Global Solutions, Inc. (Victory), a Systems Engineering Solutions & Information Technology (IT) Services firm. After a successful corporate career with IBM, Prudential, and Bellcore/Telcordia Technologies/SAIC as a systems engineer and management consultant; and operations-practice leader, Ms. Brown launched Victory in 2001.

Ms. Brown’s core competence is solving client business problems as a Trusted Advisor through the application of enterprise networking and information assurance technology solutions. She has achieved significant accomplishments in working with clients from diverse industries including government, telecommunications, and systems integration to design and implement business processes; and strategic business-aligned IT architectures and plans resulting in performance improvements. Victory’s particular expertise and market niche is serving the Defense industry in support of the Warfighter for over 10 years. Most recently, Ms. Brown has teamed with Emerson Network, Caterpillar, and Active Power to implement high energy efficient solutions applying “Green Technology” for agencies in the State of Maryland and Department of Interior. Also, she has worked with NASA and DHHS to implement an innovative software tool ensuring that Information Systems meet security and regulatory compliance. Ms. Brown is committed to serving her customers with excellence as demonstrated by the achievement of ISO quality management certification and completion of the Department of Defense’s Mentor Protégé Program.

Ms. Brown received an M.B.A. in Finance & Marketing from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and during her studies was a fellow and intern for The prestigious Wharton Center for Applied Research. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard University in Management Information Systems. Also, Ms. Brown recently completed “Building a High-Performing Business” at the Tuck School of Business – Executive Education – Dartmouth College. She has also completed CMM training and leadership training at the Center for Creative Leadership.

Ms. Brown’s passion is mentoring and coaching college students to gain real life experience to apply their learning. Each year she provides employment internships with her company for these students. Currently Ms. Brown serves as a member of Howard University’s School of Business Advisory Council Board for the Department of Information Systems and Analysis. In 2009, she was recognized by ChannelWeb/IT as one of 100 Powerful Women. Ms. Brown won the Atlanta Business League’s 2004 Outstanding Achievement premiere award. As well, Ms. Brown was selected to the Atlanta Business League’s list of “Atlanta’s Top 100 Black Women of Influence”.
